An established artist, singer, and published songwriter, Susan Esserwein began writing music at an early age. She and her husband Phil, who write and perform together, own and operate their own recording studio and music publishing company, Starfire-Muse Productions and Music.
Sue belongs to a community of musicians, The Starfire Artists, who have been together since 1994 and still perform seasonal concerts and benefits. She also writes under different names, such as Moods In Question for her cinematic soundtrack and compositions, and Musical Sonnets for her more relaxed and meditative pieces. For her electronica and experimental music, as well as dance music, she publishes under the name Sue's Place.
Sue has collaborated with and sung for many great performers and writers, including Don Shearer, Jeff Order, Robert Hitz, and the jazz great Cyrus Chestnut. She is currently scoring films and performing her works.
